After years of refusing Samsung finally adopted a Silicone Carbon anode tech and the new Z Fold Ultra gets a competitive 5000mAh size battery at last. Along with processor, faster charging, pixel denser screen and a better ultrawide that is where the upgrades end. Still, this phone that re-invented foldables 8 years ago is a flagship affair with excellent software implementation, features and very long OS support.

PROs
slightly smaller despite bigger battery, fast SD 8 Elite Gen 5 with UFS 4.0 performance, >30hr endurance from a 5000mAh Si-C battery with 60min 45W (20W wireless) charging, 2 >1400nits >420ppi 120Hz LTPO AMOLED screens with HDR10+, (submersible) IP48 protection, reliable images from the 200MP 23mm OIS PDAF main + 50MP 13mm PDAF ultrawide, good video recording, feature rich OneUI with 7 years of OS updates, market leading desktop replacement feature, fast USB-C 3.2 port with OTG, global sales and support network
CONs
still lags behind competition in battery autonomy, average 10MP 69mm OIS PDAF telephoto performance, 2 average 10MP selfies with no AF, no expandable memory, Samsung's persistent (Apple-like) effort to lock it's customers into an restrictive ecosystem, poor sounding stereo setup
