Verdict
This is a proper upgrade of A24 FE. Smaller and narrower body, Samsung's best 2024 processor, LTPO screen with smaller bazels, S25 flagship series selfie camera and the very first phone to run OneUI 8.0 out of the box.
PROs
flagship build, fast Exynos 2400 UFS4.0 performance, sub-60min 4900mAh battery (15W wireless) charging, >1200nits bright LTPO OLED with HDR10+. IP68 protection, good imaging from 50MP OIS PDAF + 8MP OIS PDAF telephoto + 12MP ultrawide, good 12MP selfies, reliable video recording, up to 7 years of OS updates, DeX desktop replacement feature and a fast USB-C 3.2 with OTG
CONs
wide and hard to use one-hand, quick to throttle and get hot under a heavy load, disappointing sub-24hr endurance for such a big phone. sub-400ppi screen, same back cameras as last year, no AF on selfie, no SDmemory slot
