Editorial

The new Pixel Pro is a bit smaller, beautifully crafted phone with excellent screen, great camera setup and a very long list of AI (and other features) baked into OS with long support plan. Price is up but still gets you only a mediocre processor and a shamefully bad battery (in both endurance and charging speed) for a $1,100 lounch price.

PROs
flagship build with a new 5-color notification light, very bright 2400nits ~500ppi 120Hz LTPO OLED screen with HDR10+, IP68 protection, very good 50MP 25mm OIS main + 48MP 106mm OIS periscope telephoto + 48MP 12mm ultrawide (all PDAF) setup, excellent 42MP 18mm PDAF selfie, good video recording, feature rich OS with a promise of 7 years of updates, basic desktop replacement functionality, fast USB-C 3.2 port, Satellite SOS Service
CONs
gone is the skin temperature sensor, midrange Tensor G6 (3nm) with UFS 4.0 performance, barely a day's e endurance from a sub-5000mAh old tech lithium battery with very slow 90min 30W (25W wireless) charging, low PWM screen dimming rate will give headaches to some users, no expandable memory, limited market availability, expensive at lounch
