Editorial

Motorola keeps producing excellent midrange (processor) phones with lovely colors and build, great in-hand feel and non-slip surfaces, top ingress and military standard drop protection, bright screens with Pantene calibrated colors and smooth but powerful OS with all the AI works and DeX equaling desktop replacement functionality. Motorola phones don’t sell in all markets so consider yourself lucky if you can get one locally.

PROs
good Mediatec 8350 E processor with UFS4.0 performance, a 2-day Si/C 6000mAh long life battery with a sub-1hr 90W wired charging (15W wireless), >1500nits bright P-OLED HDR10+ screen, maximum (IP69 + Military standard) element and drop protection, good imaging (50MP OIS main + 10MP OIS tele + 12MP ultrawide, all PDAF) back camera and excellent and very stable OS package that includes a powerful desktop replacement software
CONs
no AF on selfie, no SDmemory, just 3 years of OS updates (updated May 16, 2025)
