Verdict

8 months after X200 Pro Mini here comes another compact Vivo. Along with Oppo and Xiaomi, Vivo is now clearly after Apple’s compact phones profits. This phone looks and feels similar to iPhones falling somewhere in between iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 but delivering clean Android, much better battery life and faster charging.

PROs
very good build, fast Dimensity 9300+ with UFS3.1 performance, 2-day endurance from 6500mAh Si-C battery with sub-1hr 90W wired charging, bright >1700nits HDR10+ LTPO AMOLED screen, IP69 element protection, great photos from the 50MP PDAF main + 50MP OIS PDAF periscope telephoto (but not from the ultrawide) camera, excellent selfies from a 50MP AF unit and 4 years of OS updates
CONs
no AF on the 8MP ultrawide, slow USB-C port with no video out, no expandable storage or desktop replacement feature (updated Jul 13, 2025)
