Editorial

(this is a pre-test listing based on reasonable expectations of battery endurance, charging and imaging performance) 15 months after the first tri-fold (Huawei's Mate XT) release here comes Samsung's answer. It has a lower price, better processor, 120Hz LTPO AMOLED screens, IP48 (immersible) water resistance, better software with much longer support too. It folds to completely hide the large 10" main screen and includes DeX functionality, still considered best-in-industry. This is an excellent first attempt at a tri-fold by Samsung but battery life, charging, main screen brightness and resolution as well as average camera performance offer lots of room for improvement.

PROs

CONs
>300g heavy, sub-12hr endurance (sub-24hr on smaller screen) from a 5600mAh Lithium battery with sub-90min 45W (15W wireless) charging. sub-1300nits sub-270ppi inner screen with no stylus support, average selfie and video recording performance. no SDmemory, no Video Out USB-C port
