Verdict

OnePlus has been doing things right for a long time, always searching for the “flagship killer” title. They got it right this time with a phone that cuts (a few) corners with the camera while besting the competition in performance and battery. The screen is great too, just not as bright as top competition. OnePlus still includes an excellent mute-vibrate-ringer slider but the SD memory and desktop replacement software are missing as always. No AF on Selfie either, only 4 OxygenOS future updates

PROs
top tier performance led by Snapdragon 8 Elite, 2-day battery life of 6000mAh Silicone Carbon battery with 100W wired (50W wireless) fast charging, 1200nits bright, >500ppi LTPO AMOLED screen with Dolby Vision, IP69 water protection, 50MP main + 50MP tele with PDAF and OIS plus a 50MP ultrawide with PDAF, great build and a ring-vibrate-off hardware slider and aggressive pricing
CONs
still big at 76.5mm, no expandable storage or desktop replacement (updated Mar 27, 2025)
